The Heroine Chronicles delivers participatory performance projects for students studying literature at GCSE and A-Level. These programmes use creative and interactive storytelling, critical context, and integrative feminism to gain a new perspective on, and individual agency over the taught cannon. In doing so, instilling an enthusiasm in students for reading rigorous material, a questioning of historically assumed feminine roles, and the drive to be the protagonist of one’s own life story.
Using your school library as venue, The Heroine Chronicles presents themed workshops alongside the project Oh Heroine How I Love You! for Drama students and for English Students at A-Levels. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
